(For the n00bs and beyond!)

Who we are We are real people belonging to a local Subaru enthusiast community, CSC, operating at CTsubaru.com. We have feelings, genuine ideas, originality, respect and care for others. Most of us are living here in the nutmeg state and are full-fledged residents of Connecticut. We pay our taxes and generally are not involved with crime, misconduct, drugs and other illegal activities. We are fun-loving people who may goof around every now and then, but all in the name of safe fun. We do not street race our vehicles, conduct burnouts, create obnoxious noise or intentionally cause harm to others. Most of us here own or have owned at least one Subaru. We do not discriminate against others with non-Subaru vehicles.

Why we are here
Most of us are here for 2 basic reasons: To get away from other forums, such as NASIOC.com and to belong to a smaller, local Subaru enthusiast community. It is generally observed at NASIOC.com that some people are disrespectful, not patient, not understanding, rude and ridiculous. Also, due to the size of NASIOC.com, it is rather cumbersome and difficult to organize local meets, contribute to the health of the website, get to know other people, make significant and meaningful contributions to the Subaru community and make a footprint for ourselves in the community. This naturally led to the creation of CTsubaru.com.

What we are doing
It is generally accepted that the members of CTsubaru.com are utilizing their free time and energy to build and maintain the local Subaru enthusiast community of Connecticut. We can accomplish this by directing our passion of owning and driving Subarus into appropriate channels that will make a positive contribution to the surrounding community. These channels include participation at local and regional meets, supporting others with their cars and personal situations, communicating effectively on CTsubaru.com, organizing parties to get to know each other, garage days and other non-Subaru related events.

Our philosophy
To make this world a happier place, particularly focusing on the state of Connecticut.
